There’s no greater compliment than being asked to build for a client a second time. Having designed and built their previous home, we already understood how they wanted to live—relaxed, light-filled and connected to the water. The Mooring Residence was designed around its waterfront outlook, with a split-level layout, soaring ceilings and a central pool creating a seamless connection between the kitchen, living, alfresco and views beyond.

As the build progressed, the clients’ needs evolved. The original four-bedroom design was reworked into three bedrooms, creating a generous media room, while walls and spaces were adjusted during construction. Our flexible design-and-build approach allowed us to resolve these changes without losing the original vision.

The result is a calm, contemporary coastal home—and a second Bakker Homes project for clients who trusted us to build for them again.
