Set on a spectacular waterfront site, this architecturally designed residence was conceived to embrace its surroundings, with expansive living spaces, strong indoor–outdoor connections and extensive use of natural stone bringing warmth and texture throughout the home.

Bakker Homes was engaged to bring the design to life, with the waterfront location and complexity of the build requiring careful planning, precision and practical problem-solving throughout construction.

As the home evolved, Graeme Bakker identified opportunities to further enhance the original design. The staircase was redesigned to incorporate dramatic floor-to-ceiling glass, transforming it into an architectural feature and allowing natural light to flow through the home. Graeme also redesigned the swimming pool to better complement the residence and its waterfront setting.

The result is a refined coastal home where natural materials, considered detailing and exceptional craftsmanship come together seamlessly.
